Coronavirus and Donald Trump

I am not one to wish death, or even harm, on anyone (exceptions, if I’d been alive at the time, being Stalin, Hitler and Franco etc., with, later, the likes of Pol Pot) but I am starting to reconsider this view in relation to Donald Trump. This man is not just a moron, he is, in my view, a dangerous moron and a cretin. While now seemingly supporting much of the US lockdown measure he’s, at the same time, encouraging the mass protests against this. Then he seems to suggest that injecting disinfectant (or swallowing some), or getting bathed in UV light, will kill the coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, in minutes. The lack of the man’s intelligence and basic scientific knowledge is staggering - and potentially lethal.
Having eventually realised the enormity of his error (in this) he then tries to say he was being sarcastic: he simply cannot admit to any mistakes he might have made, by action or by words. I fail to see the sarcasm - flippancy at best. But even if he was being flippant (unlikely) then this is not the time for such flippancy, especially when so many US citizens still see him as infallible and are likely to carry out what he suggests. I trust that very few will follow Trump’s advice about disinfectant and UV light (but maybe not none) but being encouraged to break social distancing rules is only likely to spread the virus further and faster - and cause even more deaths.
The silver lining in this is that most of the American citizens, who have followed his advice in all of this, are more likely to have been Republican voters - and if that’s the case then there’s a good chance there will be fewer of them around to vote for him later this year (assuming he does not manage, in some way, to yet again bend the US constitution and delay the Presidential election). Having said that, it might be better if he was not the president and those folks who might die, as a result of his words, would still be alive come November - hence my reconsideration of not wishing he might die or, at least, be replaced as president sooner rather than later.
